John Palliser Patriot Art presents a collection of patriotic,symbolic and contemporary paintings Art wrapped in the union Flag , focusing on the centenary of the end of WW1 and featuring the painting 1914-1918 which has been exhibited around the North East over the past 4 years and as a further tribute to all British people who through out our history from the crusades to modern conflicts that have worked, fought and fallen in the defence and freedom of this Great Nation. On a lighter note there is a further retrospective and New works of traditional landscapes and modern contemporary works to suit a wide range of tastes. As this is the 10th anniversary of the forming of Patriot if you are a collector or looking to invest in your first original art work we are having a studio sale to make way for new works so this is a great time to pick up a bargain.

 By car:

Travelling South on the A167: continue straight over the roundabout at Chilton, take the 4th exit at the roundabout onto the A689 and then the 1st exit onto Middridge road. Follow the road, taking the right exit at the roundabout to stay on Middridge road and straight over the mini roundabout onto Greenfield Way. The Arts Centre will be on your right.

Travelling North on the A167: Continue on the A167, take the second exit at the Bay Eden Arms roundabout onto the A689, then the 1st exit onto Middridge Road. Follow the road, taking the right exit at the roundabout to stay on Middridge road and straight over the mini roundabout onto Greenfield Way. The Arts Centre will be on your right (look out for a large blue sculpture and a bamboo installation).

 

By bus:

The number 5/5A Arriva bus between Bishop Auckland and Darlington brings you closest to the Arts Centre, taking approximately 5 minutes from the nearest stop. Get off at the Alston Crescent stop and if coming from Bishop Auckland, continue along the road, turning left at the top and Greenfield will be ahead on your right. If coming from Darlington, walk back on yourself, turning left at the top of the road. You will have passed the Arts Centre on the bus.

 

On foot:

A walk from Newton Aycliffe town centre will take approximately 30 minutes and a walk from the train station will take approximately 15 minutes.

From the train station: turn left and follow Greenfield Way straight across the roundabout and the Arts Centre will be on your left.

 

Accessibility:

Greenfield Arts is fully accessible, all rooms have disabled access and we have toilet and baby changing facilities on site. There is ample parking available, including disabled and family spaces.
