Hardwick Park is a country park with a difference, a Visit England accredited attraction, and a great place to visit at any time of the year. Stroll through the historic parkland admiring the natural beauty of the lake, woodland and wildlife.

 Hall ,built in the 1750s, was
 surrounded by landscape gardens and a
 park. There is a temple on a hill 
 a castle gateway built as a ruin. The
  At the Temple of Minerva we held a free six week exhibition themed on Britain at War, promoting the heritage of country parks, focusing on Hardwick Park. An exhibition of  Quality original oil paintings, photography and poems. Highlighting the opportunities for exhibitions and creative development especially for disabled people. This event with the support of Hardwick Management County Durham Council will we hope develop art opportunities not only for those involved in this event but to included future visitors to the park. Such as schools, disabled & art groups.
